Michaela was born and raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where her love for journalism first started. She attended Walpole High School and anchored their morning news sharing the daily announcements with other students.
She went on to attend the University of Alabama. Michaela joined the advanced master's program and graduated with her undergraduate degree in 2021 and her graduate degree in 2022.
When Michaela is not at work, she is usually reading a book, playing piano, golfing, or hanging out with her two animals. Michaela has a dog named Kova and a cat named Simba who are best friends. You may even see her out for a run every morning!
Michaela loves telling meaningful stories that incorporate everyday people in the community.
