In Washington, DC our law enforcement partners have made 3,837 arrests to date and seized 361 illegal guns.
In Memphis, 273 arrests have been made in just under a week and 73 illegal guns seized.
On Saturday, Bondi announced that a total of 227 arrests were made and 65 illegal guns were seized in Memphis.
Arrests include a fourth suspect, Malik Merriweather, who was wanted in a deadly shooting in Frayser that happened in April.
Federal officials say there are 20 agencies assisting with the Memphis Safe Task Force, including local, state, and federal law enforcement.
President Donald Trump’s memorandum says 13 agencies were deployed as part of the task force, but local agencies like MPD are not included in that list.
