This Day in History: National Civil Rights Museum dedication

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - On this day in history, the National Civil Rights Museum right here in the 901 had its dedication.
Located at the former Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, and opening in 1991, the museum has expanded with interactive exhibits and films bringing the civil rights movement to life for new generations.
The museum continues to share lessons of equality and justice that resonate around the world.
