Woman arrested in connection to murder of son of Project Pat
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - U.S. Marshals arrested a woman accused of assisting in the death of the son of a Memphis rapper.
Talia Jones, 19, was arrested in Minneapolis after a warrant was issued for facilitation of first-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Jones was involved in the death of Patrick Houston Jr., the son of Memphis rapper Project Pat.
Houston was shot and killed on Ketchum Road in January.
Investigators with the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force tracked Jones to Minneapolis, where she was taken into custody after initially resisting arrest, officials say.
She awaits extradition back to Tennessee.
