MPD investigates burglary at Memphis-Shelby County Schools Equipment lot

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department is investigating a burglary that happened at a Memphis-Shelby County Schools property.

On Saturday, Oct.19, at 5:20 a.m., officers responded to the burglary on Farmville Avenue.

Officers were told that the suspect cut the fencing at the Memphis-Shelby County Schools Equipment lot and stole the 12-foot enclosed trailer.

The suspect was also seen returning and stealing a 20-foot enclosed trailer, according to police.

Police say the value of both trailers is $14,000.

No arrest has been made. This is an ongoing investigation
