DA Steve Mulroy provides updates on matters that affect public safety, speaks on criminal justice reform

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - In the press conference held on Tuesday, Steve Mulroy provided updates on matters that impact public safety and spoke on criminal justice reform.
Mulroy announced a new partnership with Carpenters Local 345 Union to combat worker exploitation, promote fair pay and hours, and reduce crime.
He also announced that National Crime Victims’ Rights Week will shine a light on victims, to encourage victims and witnesses to cooperate in violent crime.
Also, a bridge lighting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at the Women’s Suffrage monument located behind the University of Memphis Law Library.
