MPD: Driver in non-critical condition after car struck by train

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department says a vehicle was struck by a train Sunday night near Southern Avenue and Rayner.

The vehicle was reportedly attempting to cross the railroad when it was struck.

The driver is said to be in the hospital in non-critical condition.
