Elkhart man sentenced for murdering sex offender who assaulted his relative

An Elkhart man convicted of shooting and killing a sex offender who assaulted one of his relatives has been sentenced to 80 years in prison. Nicholas Stanley was convicted of killing Allen Cogswell at the Daylite Inn in June 2025.
