201 Poplar sees 4% cut in inmate population as convicted prisoners move out

More than 100 beds opened up at the Shelby County Jail on Wednesday after the Tennessee Department of Corrections finally welcomed the majority of convicted criminals awaiting prison at the overcrowded 201 Poplar.
