Fire torches building in Midtown

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A building was torched in Midtown after a fire decimated it Saturday night.
The building, located on York Avenue near Cooper Street, caught fire after 9 p.m., and firefighters worked to put it out.
The building appeared to be abandoned, and a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
