MPD identifies man hit by car multiple times, killed

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Police Department identified the man who was hit by a car multiple times and killed in Southwest Memphis Wednesday.
Police said Kenneth White, 63, was found dead, lying in the grass near the intersection of Elder Road and Daggett Road.
Investigators said White's death was the result of an intentional act.
Officers said a person driving a silver vehicle hit White several times before leaving the scene.
MPD said no arrests have been made at this time. MPD is investigating White's death as the 196 Memphis homicide in 2016.
