(WMC, WAFF) - A website designed to allow people to air their dirty laundry is now the object of a lawsuit.

ShesAHomewrecker.com is a site where people post pictures of women they say have split up homes and destroyed lives.

Realtor Monika Glennon found her own picture posted to the website, but she said the story about her is a complete fabrication.

"I didn't understand. Why would anybody do that to me?" Glennon said. "I was petrified that people were going to see it. How can I take care of it? Can I just remove it? What can I do?"

A post on ShesAHomewrecker.com accused Glennon of being "the enemy of decent women everywhere."

The anonymous author of the post said she sent her husband house shopping with their real estate agent, Glennon. The author said she showed up to the house tour last minute to find her husband and Glennon engaging in an affair.

Glennon said the entire story is a lie. The story has been shared thousands of times on social media.

Glennon had a six figure business selling homes. Now, her reputation is ruined.

"That photo is on every business card and every sign I have," Glennon said.

She's now suing for copyright infringement, libel, interference with business relations, and emotional distress. But who is she suing?

The website, like other social media sites, is totally immune from liability--meaning the site cannot be sued for content users publish.

"Nobody is ever really, truly anonymous on the internet. There are ways to find out who they are," Glennon's attorney said.

Glennon and her attorney plan to subpoena the website to try and force it to hand over the IP address of the person who created the story.

Glennon thinks it was a rival real estate agent, but for now, she's left in the dark.
