MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Police Department issued a city watch alert for two missing women on October 21 and then canceled it on October 23.

Nia Glenn-Lopez, 42, and Angelia Glenn-Olsen, 69, live together. They were last seen October 1, but their City Watch was not issued until 20 days later.

Family and friends who were concerned with the women's well-being asked MPD to issue the City Watch.

Less than 48 hours after it was issued, MPD canceled the alert and said the two women had been located.

MPD did not release any further details about how the women were located or if they were safe.

Friends called WMC Action News 5 upset over the lack of details. They said MPD would not tell them what was going on with their loved ones.

At this point, Glenn-Lopez and Glenn-Olsen are not missing, but their friends said they still haven't been found either.
