Violent sex offender arrested for flashing women at KFC

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A registered violent sex offender was arrested after police said he flashed two women at KFC on Poplar Avenue.

A woman told police she went to KFC to meet her daughter when she saw a man banging on her daughter's vehicle.

She told police she told the man to step away when he approached her and asked for money.

When she denied giving out money, the man, 46-year-old Karron White, exposed himself while cursing at her.

When a deputy pulled into the parking lot, White ran away. The deputy caught him after a brief chase and detained White.

Officers spoke with the manager of the KFC who said White was asked several time to leave the premises.

Officers later found out that White is a registered violent sex offender.

White was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing, evading arrest, indecent exposure and not having his sex offender ID.
