Man arrested, charged in Frayser shooting death

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police arrested the person they said is responsible for shooting and killing a man in a Frayser apartment complex.
Police arrested Damion Ray, 21, for the murder of 25-year-old Dammion Farmer on January 25, 2016.
The shooting happened in 1400 block of Rainey Drive in the Pleasant View Apartments.
Paramedics rushed Farmer to the hospital, working frantically to save his life, in extremely critical condition. Farmer later died from his injuries.
Homicide investigators were able to identify Damion Ray as the person responsible for Farmer's murder through a thorough investigation.
Ray was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
