Tanger releases full list of stores, opening date for Southaven

SOUTHAVEN, MS (WMC) - Just in time for holiday shopping, Tanger Factory Outlets in Southaven will hold its grand opening on Friday, November 20, beginning at 10 a.m.

Tanger has been hush-hush about all but a few stores inside the shopping center, but now the full store directory is available to the public!

The grand opening festivities will include an official ribbon-cutting, as well as HGTV's stars meeting with shoppers to provide holiday DIY ideas.

Steven B. Tanger, President and CEO of Tanger Outlets, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant, Josh Poag, President and CEO of Poag Shopping Centers, HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper, and other local and state officials will all attend the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

The grand opening will run through the weekend and feature tons of celebrities and giveaways. Click here for a full list of events.

The grand opening will also raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tanger will donate an undisclosed amount of money to the hospital, and money from auction items at the grand opening will also be given to St. Jude.

By creating more than 400 jobs during the construction phase, the project has already provided a positive economic impact on the area. The completed center will create more than 1,500 full and part-time retail management and sales positions.

With millions of annual visitors, the greater Memphis area is the ideal location for Tanger Outlets' first development in the great State of Mississippi and its surrounding areas," said Steven B. Tanger. "We take pride in the value and shopping experience we provide our customers and this Grand Opening weekend was designed to highlight our unique Tanger style to residents and visitors to the area."

The new center features over 70 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers which include: Ann Taylor, GAP factory outlet, White House/Black Market, Banana Republic, Columbia Sportwear Company, J.Crew, LOFT, Under Armour, Skechers, Pandora, Carter's, Tommy Hilfiger, and many more.

The center is located at the Northeast quadrant of I-69/55 and Church Road in Southaven, Mississippi.
