Naked man refuses rescue from Mississippi River

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A naked man was found swimming in the Mississippi River today, dodging help as he casually continued his exercise.
Police tried to capture the man several times, throwing a doughnut flotation device, a rope and a long snare pole. Police say he was uncooperative as he dodged their capture attempts.
Three boats, firefighters on shore and dozens of officials tried to get the man out of the water.
After over an hour and a half, an officer dove in the river and pulled the man out, latching an arm around his neck. Officers wrestled him into the boat.
