MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A police cruiser caught on fire near eastbound Interstate 40 and Sam Cooper Boulevard on Wednesday night.
Memphis Fire Department and Memphis Police Department responded to the scene to investigate. Firefighters were able to control the flames.
According to police, the officer called and said his car was on fire. The source of the fire has not been determined.
No one was hurt in this incident.
The Sam Cooper ramp from I-40 was closed, but has since reopened.
