Nichols makes first-team All-AAC

Memphis Tigers sophomore forward Austin Nichols made the All-American Athletic Conference first team Tuesday. Nichols was the only Memphis Tiger recognized with a selection.
Nichols won last year's AAC Rookie of the Year and led the Tigers in scoring this season. Nichols is second nationally in blocks per game, and second on the team in Rebounds. He's averaging 13.3 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, and 3.4 blocks per game.
Memphian Octavius Ellis made the second team for the University of Cincinnati. The All-AAC teams are listed below:
