CLEARWATER, FL (WMC) - An Eads, Tennessee businessman accused of rape was arrested in Clearwater, Florida. Mark Giannini is charged with four counts of aggravated rape and two counts of rape.

Giannini's legal troubles started last year when he was arrested twice at his home for rape and possession of controlled substances with the intent to sell, as well as possession of firearms during the commission of a felony.

In June, a victim accused Giannini of brutally raping her at his home after promising her a job. Investigators say he assaulted the girl for several hours and when she cried and asked to go home, he told the woman it was her job interview.

According to court records, investigators say Giannini forced the alleged victim to swallow urine, feces, and blood.

Investigators executed a search warrant in July that produced 20 toothbrushes, eight flash drives, four guns, nipple clamps, sex toys, lingerie, and other items at his home.

"We understood there were others coming forward, but we expected this," Farese said. "We were hoping we would be notified beforehand so we could make voluntary surrender. Obviously, that did not happen."

He was released on a $150,000 bond that did not include any travel restrictions.

The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force in Tampa was contacted. They found Giannini at a hotel where he was arrested without incident. He will be extradited to Tennessee. Currently, WMC Action News 5 does not have specific details of the latest charges because the indictments may not be released until he is extradited.

Farese says Giannini maintains his innocence and believes his client's sexual tastes are why investigators are going after him.

"We think that the State of Tennessee is very interested in him and that's pretty much it. Why are they interested in him:? I think probably because of his lifestyle," Farese added.

The documents that were uncovered depicting the details of the case do reveal a lot about the investigation that was conducted over the summer and what was found during a police search, but we must warn you that they are very graphic. Please read them at your own discretion.
