Man killed during robbery at Amigo's Market identified

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A 44-year-old man was shot in Amigo's Market in the 4200 block of Wales Avenue during an apparent robbery on Monday night.
According to Memphis Police Department, Mamadou Ngom was shot in the chest.
When officers arrived, they were met by two customers who discovered Ngom on the floor behind the counter.
Police say Ngom was shot multiple times; he was taken to the hospital where he later died.
"I feel very unsafe now," said Daniel Johnson, who lives in the neighborhood. "Because I grew up on these streets. I've been here for 16 years, and it's sad to see something like this on my block.
There is no suspect information at this time.
