(WMC) - On Friday, Dwayne Moore was found guilty of the second degree murder of his stepfather, Jimmy McClain.
The 49-year-old Ridgeway High School basketball coach was found dead inside his Cordova home in February 2013. He had been shot multiple times with a .40 caliber gun.
Moore is the son of McClain's estranged wife.
Investigators said Moore was not necessarily an invited guest at McClain's house at the time of the shooting. They believe McClain was surprised by Moore being in his home.
There is no word on when Moore will be sentenced.
