A big reward is being offered in the West Memphis Three case and one of the men who spent years behind bars for the crime is talking about it.

(WMC-TV) - The West Memphis Three are free. They're out of prison after pleading guilty to murder. But their main goal since getting out is to be exonerated and now they hope a $100,000 reward will do just that.

"I'm happy they're doing it, but they know who did it," said Jessie Misskelley, Jr., when he was told of the reward for information proving who killed three eight-year-old West Memphis boys almost 20 years ago.

When pressed on who he thought committed the crimes, Misskelley stopped short of naming a killer.

"I'm not going to say any names," he said. "I'm not going to accuse nobody because I know how it feels to be accused."

The West Memphis Three pleaded guilty last year to the murders of Stevie Branch, Christopher Byers and Michael Moore. It was a plea deal that got them out of prison.

However, the deal allowed Jessie Misskelley, Jason Baldwin and Damien Echols to tell the court that they are innocent of the murders.

An anonymous person put up the $100,000 reward.

One person who has been named by the West Memphis Three's defense team as a possible suspect is Terry Hobbs, stepfather of Stevie Branch.

"They claim they're looking for the person who killed the boys," Hobbs said Tuesday when asked about the reward. "They just released them from prison. They don't have to look."

Hobbs also denied claims by defense attorneys' that his nephew named him as the killer.

"My Uncle Terry murdered those three little boys," the nephew said, according to lawyers.

He also referred to the crime as the "Hobbs' family secret."

However, Terry Hobbs said that while his family has secrets, none of them have to do with murder.

Hobbs also said that he has written a book and is close to getting it published.
