If you just recently lost your ability to watch channel 5 and have not done a rescan on your system then tune your television to 5.1 and adjust your antenna until a signal comes in.  Antenna placement is critical in how well it will pick up the WMC Channel 5 digital signal.  Make sure to pull the rods out as far as they will go.  Then place them in a horizontal position, like a set of airplane wings.

Then you must put them perpendicular to our transmitter site.  Meaning they must be at a right angle to it, so if you live due south of our transmitter site you must point the tips of the rods East/West in order to get the most signal.

If your converter box or digital television does not stop on 5.1 at all you may need to rescan in order to have it discover Channel 5 with your antenna.
