MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery and shooting of Bluff City basketball star Antonio Burks.
On Sunday, Memphis police charged Ladarrius Carr, 19, with multiple crimes, including especially aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
Burks, a former Grizzlies and University of Memphis point guard, was shot during a robbery in a South Memphis backyard on July 20.
He remains in serious condition at the Regional Medical Center.
16-year-old Labatrick Drummer, a possible accomplice in the shooting, was charged early last week.
Police are still looking for a third suspect, alleged triggerman Darquan Swift. The 18-year-old is wanted for attempted first degree murder.
Police say Swift should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have information about his whereabouts, authorities ask you to call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
