Taylor Graham

From an early age, Taylor had a fascination with people that predicted the weather. She knew in elementary school that she wanted to become a meteorologist. Growing up in Elizabethtown, KY, she was able to experience everything from snow and ice to severe storms.

"I always thought it was so neat that meteorologists were able to predict the future! I loved watching the weather everyday on the news, and I was always amazed at the big changes in our weather patterns in Kentucky."

Taylor decided to continue her interest by studying meteorology at Mississippi State University . She graduated in 2016 with her degree in Geoscience with a concentration in Broadcast and Professional Meteorology.

It wasn't until an internship at WCBI in Columbus, MS that she decided she wanted a career in broadcasting. As a senior in college, she accepted a fill-in meteorologist position at WCBI. During her time there, she was able to help during severe weather coverage, including the EF-4 tornado in Louisville, MS in 2014.

After graduation, she worked at WQAD in the Quad Cities (Moline, IL/Davenport, IA). She experienced forecasting several severe storms and winter storms. While she loved the challenges of working in the Midwest, she longed for warmer weather.

Taylor is now thrilled to be back south and working on the Gulf Coast! In her spare time, she loves to cook and try new restaurants. She also enjoys spending time with her cat, Bobbi Jo, and her Miniature Schnauzer, Oliver. "I really look forward to settling down along the coast and spending time on the beach!".
