First Alert Forecast: Quiet, dry pattern persists through end of October
FRIDAY: We’ll finish the work week on a pleasant note under mainly sunny skies with highs around 80 degrees. Light winds and low humidity will make for great Friday evening outdoor plans, though fire danger remains elevated. Skies stay clear overnight with lows dipping into the lower to middle 50s, 40s in the outlying areas.
SATURDAY: The dry trend under mostly sunny skies with highs returning to the lower 80s after starting off in the 40s and 50s. Light breezes and warm sunshine offer ideal weekend weather, followed by a mostly clear night with lows in the middle 50s; 40s will be possible in the outlying areas.
EXTENDED: Mild, dry weather holds Sunday through Thursday of next week with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Drought conditions will continue to worsen across the region. A long-awaited pattern shift arrives for Halloween weekend, bringing increasing clouds and a chance for rain and storms by late Saturday through Monday of the following week.
