MPD: 1 man dead, teen charged with murder after shooting in Rangeline area

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
On July 2, at 9:40 pm, officers responded to a shooting on Overton Crossing in the Rangeline area.
When officers arrived, they learned that a man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Homicide investigators made the scene and developed a suspect.
A little after 2 a.m., the 17-year-old suspect was located and detained. He was charged with second-degree murder.
