Lanes reopen after semi overturns on I-40 West near Watkins

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Lanes have reopened on I-40 West in North Memphis after a semi-truck overturned Friday night.

The crash was located just past the North Watkins Street exit.

A different semi overturned in the exact same spot Wednesday night.

First responders were still making the scene as of 10:30 p.m.

Westbound traffic was congested for a mile.

As of 6 a.m., the exit ramp and westbound lanes are open.

Memphis Police report there were no injuries in this incident.
