Memphis Safe Task Force arrests third suspect in February murder

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Safe Task Force arrested a third suspect wanted in a murder from February.
Dande Ashby, 23, faces charges in the murder of Adrien Prewitt. Machaela Shelton and Darreone McDowell were arrested earlier this year in connection with the case.
The Task Force said Ashby is the second shooter in a robbery setup gone wrong. Investigators said Shelton set Prewitt up to be robbed by the two men, but Prewitt was shot multiple times during the incident.
