1 dead, 1 firefighter injured after house fire in Whitehaven, MFD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Fire Department is investigating a house fire that took place Saturday night, December 6.
According to MFD, crews responded to a house fire on Clarice drive in the Whitehaven area.
One person was found inside the home and was pronounced dead; while working the fire, one firefighter suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Damages to the home are approximately $74,000.
