MILLINGTON, Tenn. (WMC) - Two buildings on the Naval Support Activity Mid-South have been cleared after a gas main break led to a shelter in place being issued.
According to the official NSA Mid-South page, occupants of the medical building and Community relation building were asked to go inside and take shelter until they have been given an “all clear.”
Action News 5 was later informed that one of the buildings was under deconstruction when a as main pipe was hit.
For cautionary measure, the shelter in place was called to assure that no one was harmed by the gas leak.
