City of Memphis hosting city Hackathon

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Innovation is taking center stage in Memphis this fall.

Hack Memphis, the hackathon event, is bringing together 100 volunteers for 36 hours of problem-solving, collaboration, and big ideas. From predictive analytics to fight blight to tech tools that support small businesses and AI that improves access to city services, teams will tackle real civic challenges. The weekend also includes workshops, networking, and remarks from Mayor Paul Young.

The event is set for November 7 through 9.
