Man shoots self outside Wendy’s after being chased by bounty hunters, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting outside of a local restaurant.
On September 28, at 10:28 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 749 S. Highland Street.
When officers arrived, they learned that a man had fired shots at several bounty hunters who were attempting to take him into custody.
The man then shot himself. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The man responsible for the shooting had a warrant for second-degree murder.
