Commission approves moving all MSCS board seats to 2026 ballot

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Shelby County Commission has voted to approve moving all Memphis-Shelby County School Board seats to the 2026 ballot.
The resolution will align the school board election with county commission’s elections.
This vote now shortens the terms for the five board members who were elected in 2024 by two years.
