$4K reward offered for information in killing of Ole Miss freshman
CORDOVA, Tenn. (WMC) - Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to solve the death of 18-year-old Corey Adams.
Adams, a freshman Ole Miss football player, was shot and killed in Cordova on July 19.
There is a $4,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
If you know anything that may assist the investigation, call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

Four others were wounded in the shooting that stemmed from a weekend pool party.
“He was just coming down here to enjoy himself on his day off,” said Adams’ mother, Chantrel Bernhardt. “He didn’t deserve to die. I’m asking for anybody who has any information to help. I can’t get my child. I can’t get him back to see him play at Ole Miss. I can’t get him back to see him play in the NFL.”
