18-year-old dead after shooting in South Memphis, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is dead after a shooting on Saturday night, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Officers responded to the shooting just before 8:15 p.m. at College Street and Ferry Court.
The victim, now identified as 18-year-old Joseph Simpson, was found and taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
There is no suspect information at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
