MPD: 3 detained, 1 arrested in Oakville after stabbing leaves man critically wounded

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department has three people detained and one arrested in Oakville after a stabbing that left a man fighting for his life Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the aggravated assault at 3:55 p.m., reporting an injured man at the American Way Transit Center.
On the scene, officers spoke to a security guard who reported four men assaulting a man and stabbing him with a silver knife, according to police.
The suspects then ran away from the scene.
Officers searched the area and found the suspects walking near Family Dollar on 2711 Getwell Road and they were all detained.
The victim was rushed to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. One of the suspects was sent to Saint Francis Hospital.
Officers also looked in the area where the suspects were found and discovered the silver kitchen knife with blood on it.
A fourth suspect was found laid out at Exxon on 2675 Getwell Road. He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital.
Officers discovered that one suspect had a warrant for probation violation.
Another suspect had a warrant for vandalism of less than $1,000 and he was taken to 201 Poplar for booking.
