1 dead, 1 hospitalized after house fire in North Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - One person is dead and another is injured after a house fire in North Memphis on Saturday morning, according to Memphis Fire Department.
Just after midnight, crews responded to the fire on Nicholas Street near Dorian Avenue.
One person died, and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to MFD.
Investigators say the cause of the fire was accidental, due to unattended candles.
