Kyle Rittenhouse speaks at U of M as protestors rally on campus
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Conservative figure Kyle Rittenhouse spoke at the University of Memphis as protesters gathered in dissent on campus.
Members of Turning Point USA’s University of Memphis chapter invited Rittenhouse back to the campus after being met with protests during his last visit.
This year, THP and University police were amped up for the occasion; TPUSA is a non-profit that advocates conservative views on college campuses.
Tickets were allegedly sold out to tonight’s event, where Rittenhouse discussed his 2021 trial.
Action News 5’s Imani Williams spoke with students who shared their opinions on Rittenhouse’s return to the U of M campus.
