Man charged after shooting outside Highland Strip restaurant
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is facing eight counts of attempted murder after a shooting outside a Highland Strip restaurant.
The shooting happened on February 9 at Roosters Blues House on S Highland Street.
Officers spoke to a victim who said he and seven friends were at the restaurant when they got into a fight with an unknown man after he yelled at his friend.
After the fight, the group of friends went to leave when a man standing by a lifted black Chevy Silverado began firing a gun at their vehicle.
A woman was shot in the right side of her body and in the wrist. The group then drove to the hospital for help.

Klaybon Kobeck was later identified as the alleged shooter.
Kobeck was taken into custody and charged with eight counts of attempted second-degree murder, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony and vandalism.
