Homeowner thwarts attempt to steal AC unit
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are seeking help identifying a group of people who attempted to steal an air conditioning unit.
On Saturday around noon, officers responded to an attempted theft at a home on Mclean Boulevard.
Officers say three people arrived at the home and attempted to steal the outside AC unit.
The homeowner used the speaker system on his camera to tell the alleged thieves that police were on their way, and the three fled.
Police are hoping the public can help identify the three persons of interest.
This is an ongoing investigation. No arrest has been made.
