1 suspect on the run, another in custody after shooting on Woodcliff Avenue, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of shooting a man.

On January 25, 2025, around 5:06 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on Woodcliff Drive.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim who was transported to Regional One in critical condition.

Investigators developed two individuals as suspects in this case, Rondarius Clifton and Jeremiah Cotton.

On January 29, 2025, arrest warrants were issued for both males for attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

On January 31, 2025, officers located Rondarius Clifton as we left the Ridgecrest Apartments area in a Jeep; Clifton fled on foot but was quickly taken into custody.
