Public works, MATA give update on road conditions
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - City officials gave updates on road conditions amid heavy snowfall Friday morning.
Public Works Director Scott Morgan says crews are treating roads and plowing, but urged patience because crews are driving slow to stay safe.
He says crews have treated each of the planned roads, and many have been treated twice.

Interim MATA Director Bacarra Mauldin says MATA is operating a regular fixed route service that goes until 6 p.m. Friday.
Saturday’s routes will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
MATA Plus service is on life-sustaining trips only.
The Ready and Groove service is suspended for Friday and Saturday.
Transit center lobbies will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
