Police investigating death at motel as homicide

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead at a motel.
Police were called to the Star Lite Inn on Third Street on January 2 just before 6:30 p.m.
A woman was found dead at the scene.
It’s unclear how she died, but her death has been ruled a homicide.
There’s no word on a possible suspect at this time.
