Man later dies at hospital, a woman injured after shooting on East Shelby Drive, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead and a woman critically injured.
Around 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on East Shelby Drive near Faronia Road.
When police arrived, they discovered that two had been shot.
The female victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition; the male victim was also hospitalized but later was pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time.
