New music venue coming to Crosstown
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Crosstown Concourse and Live Nation are teaming up to bring a new music venue to Memphis.
The new space will be built at the corner of Autumn Avenue and Claybrook Street, across the street from the Crosstown parking garage.
The 35,000-square-foot venue will hold 1,300 people and is slated to host 100 events annually.
The venue will also create 150 permanent jobs for staff.
“We are extremely excited about this new venue and collaborating with Live Nation is hugely important to helping make Memphis a regular tour stop, bringing artists and musicians to Memphis that would not have played here otherwise,” said Todd Richardson, President/CEO of Crosstown Concourse. “Pairing the thoughtfully designed venue with Crosstown Concourse’s convenient location, ample parking, variety of food and beverage options and amenities will create an unforgettable entertainment experience for Memphians and regional visitors.”
