ORLANDO, Fla. (WMC) -In a game relocated from Tampa to Orlando and played a day later than originally scheduled, the Memphis Tigers defeated USF 21-3 to pick up their first win in AAC play. The Tigers move to 5-1 overall.

The Memphis offense got off to a hot start, scoring touchdowns on two of their first three drives, with Seth Henigan throwing scores to Demeer Blankumsee and Mario Anderson in the first quarter.

The offense went quiet after that, but the defense picked up the slack. USF, playing without starting quarterback Byrum Brown, struggled to get anything going against the Memphis defense. The Tigers forced three turnovers and scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery in the fourth quarter.

Memphis returns home next Saturday for a battle against North Texas.
