MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Elvis week begins Friday and there is something for everyone to do.

The first event will be the Ultimate Tribute which is a salute to the 50s at the Graceland Soundstage starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets cost about $45 to $80.

Because people travel from across the country and beyond, several of the events on Friday are already sold out - or have limited availability.

Previous winners of Elvis Tribute Contests will celebrate the early days with a show dedicated to Elvis’ 1950s performances.

When it ends, attendees might want to stick around Graceland for the Elvis Tribute Artists Kick-Off party.

It will be hosted by some of your favorite Elvis tribute artists from 10 p.m. until midnight.

Then things get started Saturday morning with bus tours and tribute artists meet and greets to follow.

We know several hotels are sold out in Memphis to see Memphis’ most popular tourist attraction.

It’s a packed day one of events and it’s only going to get bigger over the next week.
