PARIS (WMC) - Germantown Native Seth Rider helped Team USA win a silver medal in the mixed team relay on Monday morning.

Team USA included Seth Rider, Taylor Spivey, Morgan Pearson, and Taylor Knibb. They finished within the time of 1:25:40 (+ 0.01).

There was some misunderstanding at the finish line, as Team USA appeared to believe they had won bronze during their initial post-race interview.

It wasn’t until a podium mix-up that the order was formally corrected.

Germany won the gold medal, while Great Britain took the bronze.
